We work to increase voter knowledge of Lehigh Valley residents, students and community members alike, by creating, analyzing, and publishing candidate surveys. We are also working to support and sponsor voter registration drives with the dream of hosting candidate debates for the upcoming November election.

If you like to write, concentrate on developing survey questions. If you are more outgoing, you can call campaign offices to prompt candidates to complete the survey. If you like to debate, work on developing connections for the future goal of having candidate debates here on Lehigh Valley campuses.
CROSS-CAMPUS COLLABORATION
One of the top initaitves for CCS is to cultivate a relationship with every college campus in the Lehigh Valley.

In CCS, students from all academic disciplines come together to talk about their areas of interest; environmental studies majors, political science graduate students, engineers, Republicans, Democrats, and independents have all contributed their questions to the survey. CCS is a great opportunity to meet and collaborate with students from other campuses and programs
WHAT IS THE
COALITION OF CONCERNED STUDENTS?
The Coalition is a student-led nonpartisan organization composed of higher education students from across the seven Lehigh Valley colleges and universities. Our primary objective is to gather and distribute information about local, state and federal candidates to help fellow students and community members represent their concerns to election candidates and make well-informed decisions when heading to the polls this November.
HOW CCS WORKS:
As undergraduate and graudate students, we are constantly on the go; between class, those three papers you have to write, and work, students easily forget that we live in the highly political arena known as the Lehigh Valley. With more than 50,000 higher education students regionally, we are a huge constituency that should be important to candidates running for elected office.
